KIRA GYNGAZOVA

Kira Gyngazova is a self-taught photographer, who was born and raised in Saint-petersburg, Russia. Initially she studied architecture and philosophy at university that shaped her interest both in geometrical forms, composition and human behaviour. After moving to Bangkok in 2018 she started developing her unique cinematic style, going out everyday with camera and capturing everything that caught her eye being influenced by movie aesthetics. The last several years she is travelling around the world, however most of the time she spends in France. Her works are balancing in between documentary and art photography emphasising “magic realism” of everyday life. Kira's projects are featured in multiply online magazines.
