HELENE HAVARD
Helene Havard is a French native, who received her training as a photographer in Paris. Now she is based in the French Polynesia in The South Pacific, where she has lived and worked for ten years. It’s an area that inspires, and caters to her interest in deserted locations, decaying buildings, and any other place that has a story to uncover.
What is a common thread in Harvard’s work is her love of pastel colours. The softness of the pastel hues provides a dreamy aspect to her work. It allows the viewer to explore the many sites as Helene has experienced them on her travels. Demonstrating her unique style, and talent for transporting anyone to another place. Elevating abandoned things and old buildings to art.
